Matt brings boutique design expertise, exceptional client service and a history of richly diverse experiences to each and every project. Prior to forming his eponymous firm his pedigree includes 20 years at several of the most prestigious residential firms in the country all of which have been recognized by Architectural Digest in the AD 100 - Ferguson & Shamamian, Peter Pennoyer, and G. P. Schafer. Projects from this first chapter in his career have received numerous awards and have been featured in Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, and Veranda.
Matt is licensed in 35 states and he is certified by the National Council of Architectural Review Boards (NCARB). A member of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art's (ICAA) College of Fellows, where he serves as Chair of the Books Committee. During his tenure as Chair, multiple notable volumes on classical architecture have been republished including most notably Sir Edwin Lutyens Memorial Series, The Complete Works of Percier & Fontaine, and McKim Mead & White Selected Works 1879 - 1915. His education includes graduating Magna Cum Laude with a B. Arch from the University of Notre Dame.
